Brilyn Gibson
CONGRATULATIONS to Brilyn Gibson and her team The 2K11 DC Cubs on their tournament championship win in the Plays @ Home Tournament in Columbia, TN this weekend. After a 12 hour day Brilyn and the Cubs remained undefeated and brought home the championship hardware. Brilyn had an incredible day in all aspects of the game. She pitched 2 no hitters, struck out 41 batters in 4 games, made a diving catch in the field, had 4 RBIs, and hit an inside the park homerun in the championship game!!!

NV Athletics strongly believes in the power of mentorship and partnership. We want to invest in our young athletes beyond the physical aspect of their game. Building strong leadership and confidence skills as well as sound fundamentals and education of the game are essential to our athletes' success.
NICHOLE VINCENT
Coach Nichole grew up in Murfreesboro, TN and played Division I College Softball at Tennessee State University in Nashville from 2007-2010. She received a four year athletic and academic scholarship and earned her Bachelor's of Science in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Sports Broadcasting in 2011. Nichole has 13 years of experience coaching softball and giving one on one lessons.
Coaching Sessions
One on One Hitting Lesson
Time: 30 Minutes
Cost: $25
One on one hitting lessons are tailored specifically to the individual athlete's needs. We go beyond the physical mechanics of a proper swing and also dive into the mental aspect of hitting. Tees, soft toss, front toss, weighted balls, and the use of a machine are among the several tools that we incorporate in the half hour of work. No two athletes are the same so most lessons will vary from athlete to athlete.
Full Team Consultation
Time: Varies
Cost: $10 per player/hour, minimum 6 players
Full team consultation includes tailored assessment and instruction for what the team needs most. We cover hitting, base running, infield and outfield. We come to your team's normally scheduled practice and assist where we are needed. This is valuable for assessing team chemistry and uniform instruction. We are very adamant about comprehension and mastering the mental and physical aspect of the game.

From the first time I met Nichole as my daughter's batting coach I immediately saw her will, skill and determination to teach her well. I was the general manager for a 16u softball travel team and we were looking for a new coach. Nichole was the first to come to mind. I made the decision to bring her on board and it was one of the most important decisions I ever made. For many of the girls on the team it was the first time they had a female coach and we clicked immediately and had a great summer of ball.
Nichole is a perfect role model for the younger generation and has left an incredible mark on my daughter and my life.

My daughter went to Nichole at a very important time/shift in her softball career. She was getting into more softball tournaments with college coach exposure which was very important. At the age of 12, I believe every girl wants the dream of a D1 school however; it takes D1 motivation and constant work.
Nichole was that God send person to my daughter as she noticed a lot of techniques from day 1 upon meeting with my daughter that needed to be changed. Power, inside pitches, outside pitches, etc. making adjustments to my daughter's swing technique and where the ball should be placed.
My daughter went to Nichole every week, two-three times a week faithfully. Every training was incorporating a new process that excelled my daughter. Nichole has so much experience and education she will bring to any session. She uses key words and key identifiers that would stick with your child at those most important times while up to bat. No matter how old or young; she will make those teaching adjustments, I have seen it done with my child over the 3 years she went to Nichole. More power, more contact, exceptional power is just a few things that will happen! I guarantee it.
Trust in her; you won’t be disappointed. Many teachings have come and gone in my daughter's life; these I do believe stuck as she makes those adjustments to this day. My daughter is committed to a D1 school, Nichole made an impact on my daughter’s career and she can make one on your athlete too.
